Rated 4.1 out of 5 across 350 Koala Socks reviews.

After meeting several nurses who swore by wearing compression socks for work, and researching options, I decided to buy these koala socks. Being on my feet for most of the day, I have noticed an instant difference with my legs feeling lighter right up until the end of the day. That evening ankle puffiness is gone. I am recommending these.

I bought 3 pairs of socks initially to see if they might help the heaviness and aching in my legs after a day at work. I was a bit sceptical that it would make any difference at all. After wearing the socks for two days I've immediately placed another order for three more pairs because they make such a dramatic difference to how my legs feel at the end of the day. I've already recommended them to a colleague who has also placed an order.

Lovely socks, excellent quality, really helped my legs feel less tired after a long shift spent on my feet. Recently I've suffered from swollen ankles after work, but wearing Koala socks helped tremendously, I can only recommend them.

Questions, answered.

Which size do I need?

Two sizes. Small fits UK 4 to 9 with a calf of 9 to 16 inches. Large fits UK 10 to 13 with a calf of 14 to 19 inches.

Go by your calf rather than your shoe size. Compression socks are meant to feel firm, but the calf measurement is what decides whether they feel supportive or too tight, and it is the most common reason people pick the wrong pair.

Will these pass my uniform policy?

They are solid black, navy or white with no pattern and no visible branding on the leg. Most dress codes that rule out novelty socks are asking for exactly this. Policies do vary between trusts and private employers, so check yours if you are not sure.

How firm is 20-25 mmHg?

It is a firm everyday graduated compression, tightest at the ankle and easing as it goes up the calf. If a clinician has put you on a specific compression class, check with them before switching to these.

When will they arrive?

Orders placed Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. UK delivery is Royal Mail 48, usually 2 to 3 working days.
